Football, Flamenco and Fabulous Fun at CIRSE 2016

The 31st edition of CIRSE took place across four jam-packed days in September in sunny Barcelona – and Kuoni Congress once again, had the pleasure of delivering it.

We, as the official housing agency, managed the accommodation and other land services, including transfers, meals, internal meetings, etc. for the industry’s attendees. Moreover, the team were in responsible for the Organizer’s requirements, including their accommodation, social program, shuttle bus services, and key cards customization.

The successful delivery of the social program was our key goal. This year there were four main events.
EXECUTIVE DINNER: held at the El Principal Restaurant, this was an exclusive dinner for the board and partners of CIRSE.

OPENING CEREMONY: On the first day we were in charge of organizing the inaugural Opening Ceremony. And this year, it was all about the Flamenco!
SPORTS EVENT: similar to previous years, CIRSE decided to organize the Charity Football and marathon tournament. During 3 hours 100 people were enjoying the delights of the recently renovated La Marbella sports center, the magnificent buffet dinner and the tournament itself.
PRESIDENTS DINNER: the main star! In 2016 the Museum Maritim of Barcelona was chosen as the perfect venue to host the dinner. The location, the building, the installations, the special lighting and decor made for an unforgettable night for 300 guests.
CIRSE PARTY: The farewell party took place in Can Travi Nou - a typical Catalan countryside house on the outskirts of Barcelona. The dinner with delicious fresh produce and the entertainment were the perfect icing on the cake.
